Silk Route
The ambitious plan launched in 2013 by the Chinese Government is to increase its trade partner and drive economic growth, the New Silk Road is a mix of seaborne and rail freight routes that currently cover more than 150 countries and destinations across Europe.
NewCon Container Leasing is one of the core container lessor to supply containers
to the key forwarding rail operators using 40’ high Cube Containers between China and Europe and vice versa. We have been offering our containers to support the customers in the infrastructural setup of this intercontinental train route. NewCon Container Leasing have local presence in China, to support each customer with individual service when it comes to their needs.
Organization
BVDSI, Federal Association of the German Silk Road Initiative, is the central point of contact with regard to the Silk Road Initiative for politics, trade, industry and service providers in Germany and the neighboring countries of the new Silk Road. Originally designed by China to provide alternative logistics routes between the Eastern and Western world, the “One Belt-One Road Initiative” now represents a unique investment pipeline for strategic projects.
